Campaign Prelude ---
The 353. Infanterie-Division presents a prelude to our internal campaign!
---
American forces have pushed beyond the beaches of Normandy and are steadily gaining ground inland as they attempt to force the Germans out of France. Defended by elements of the 353. Infanterie-Division and the 10. SS-Panzer-Division "Frundsberg", Neaville and its surroundings have become the next major objective for Allied forces in the area.
---
Launching next week, Campaign Neaville is a dynamic campaign with allotted and tracked resources and logistics for both our unit and the AI-controlled forces. The development of battle around Neaville depends on the tactical decisions made and success in the field. Lives and equipment are precious and limited. Each campaign session - which will follow each training - will comprise roughly half a day in campaign time, requiring leadership to plan in advance and adapt to changing circumstances.
As shown on the map, the Americans are operating to the northwest of Neaville. The first campaign mission will focus on the defense of Hill 92 against an American attack, becoming a flashpoint that determines the course of the ongoing conflict. As combat progresses and territory is taken, this map will change to reflect that.
